Bridal headpiece Fern by Rachel Chaprunne

Rhiannon, why did you choose a Rachel Chaprunne bridal headpiece?

It was so beautiful with the Swarovski crystals and pearls that I had to have it!

Rhiannon is wearing the beautiful Fern boho wedding headpiece made with sparkling Swarovski crystals and shimmering freshwater pearls.

'You look absolutely exquisite and it was an absolute pleasure to make your headpiece' - Rachel

Tell us all about your beautiful & romantic proposal

Santorini cruise

Ramzi proposed to me on a Greek Island Cruise- we had spent the day in Santorini and we went back to the cabin, got ready to go for dinner and he did it there- it was so special to us both because it was so private- just him and I in the cabin- it was the best feeling in the world to know that Ramzi wanted to marry me.

Tell us about your fabulously beautiful dress! We love the lace detail, you look amazing!

My dress was from Sincerity Bridal- and the description is- A classic look created by a Sabrina neckline, natural waistline, and chapel length train. Beaded and corded lace completes this demure look. It was the second dress I tried on and I loved it. It made me feel comfortable and beautiful.

The venue looks so beautiful & romantic

We chose Llanerch Vineyard, Hensol, Vale of Glamorgan. It was perfect because as soon as our families walked in, everybody looked at each other smiled and nodded. The staff were exceptional- nothing was too much and Claire our organiser was fantastic from start to finish.

Your bridesmaids look stunning tell us more

I had 4 bridesmaids- they were all my closest friends from different points in my life.

The Groom & groomsmen are looking very dapper!

We had 8 groomsmen, friends from uni, his band and home. Moss Bros hire.

What sort of ceremony did you have?

We had a non-religious ceremony with a registrar- I was so excited to see Ramzi but quite emotional at the same time! My dad kept me calm though!

Tell us about your super talented photographer!

Martin Phillips and his wife Julie from Martin Phillips Studio and videographer was Mike Regan from Regan Creative.

'I have always lived by the sea and as long I have either a camera, a surfboard or a beachfire – I’m happy! I went to a traditional, ‘old school’ Art College and learned the craft of design and photography. I have been a full time professional photographer ever since.

An essential part of the process are all you lovely couples. We want you to be as excited as we are about taking part in creating great images!

How would you describe your wedding style?

I would say it was a mix of traditional with a bit of fun. Every guest had a home made windmill for a decorative addition to their table, our table names were T.V shows that Ramzi and I enjoyed watching together. I would say my dress was quite traditional. Ramzi’s family are from Egypt so we asked him to do a traditional Egyptian wedding reading in Arabic for us which was translated for our guests.

Did you have a vision for your perfect day?

We just wanted it to reflect us, both as individuals and as a couple. Music is extremely important to both of us, so we had a string quartet with my old violin teacher in, a duet of Monteverdi’s Pur ti Miro, a chamber choir of 8 singing Eric Whitacre’s This Marriage, a jazz trio during the drink reception and two bands in evening- one covers and one 12 piece jazz funk. We had quite a big wedding with 143 in the day and up to 180 in the evening. We wanted it to be fun and enjoyable but at the same time, show how important it was to both of us that we were making this promise to each other.

We adore the sunflower theme, so perfect for a vineyard wedding!

Our florist was a natural florist, so whatever was in season, we would have. We didn't want anything too vibrant so decided upon, white, green and yellow for the flowers, the girls were in an icy blue/grey and the men’s ties matched

The food was out of this world. All the guests had a choice of three options for starter and main and then we had a trio of desserts to finish. We had an Arabic style evening buffet with falafel, chicken wraps and salad. We had the Roald Dahl sweet cart from the Wales Milennium Centre- it was incredible!

We had two bands- the Big What Band and Rubicon.

What made your day extra special?

The fact that we had our family and friends there with us- the music and food was great- everything seemed to flow smoothly!

Your happiest memory from the day?

Saying our vows and marrying Ramzi.

Congratulations Rhiannon & Ramzi, it was a real honour to share your day on my blog & to make your beautiful bridal headpiece. Wishing you a future filled with all the love & happiness in the world!
